Shipping, Delivery & Damaged Items
Delivery Responsibility
At Gridiron Breaks UK Limited, we are responsible for ensuring your order arrives safely and in good condition. Risk in the goods passes to you once the order has been successfully delivered.
Royal Mail Shipping
Royal Mail Tracked Deliveries
All UK orders are shipped using tracked delivery service being either Tracked 24/48 or next day special delivery.
A unique tracking number will be provided on generation of the label
- This will ensure full traceability of the parcel throughout its journey to you.
- A safe place can be provided for Tracked parcels but Special deliveries will require a signature to be delivered.
A parcel is considered successfully delivered once marked as delivered or signed for. Shipping times are guidelines and sometimes these times are delayed. In this situation we will do our best to sort a solution for you.
Damaged, Missing or Lost Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or has not been delivered within the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@gridironbreaks.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date).
We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement, refund, or further investigation.
Claims & Evidence Requirements
To investigate and resolve claims, we may require:
- Clear photos of the outer packaging
- Clear photos of the contents and any damage
- Photos of the shipping label
- Video evidence of the parcel being opened (recommended for high-value orders)
- Retention of all packaging materials
Failure to provide requested evidence may result in delays or refusal of a claim where appropriate.
Courier Investigations
All lost or damaged parcel claims are subject to investigation by the courier.
- We will handle the claim directly with Royal Mail on your behalf
- Resolution is subject to the courier’s investigation process
- We reserve the right to withhold refunds or replacements until the investigation is complete where there is a reasonable basis to do so
Trading Cards & High-Value Items
Due to the nature of trading cards and sealed products:
- All items are securely packaged and checked prior to dispatch
- We may document packing processes for high-value orders
- Claims relating to missing items, tampering, or incorrect contents will be carefully reviewed
We reserve the right to refuse claims where evidence suggests misuse, tampering, or fraudulent activity.
Incorrect Shipping Details
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
We are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If an order is returned to us, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the item.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery is missed:
- Royal Mail will attempt redelivery or provide further instructions.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to rearrange delivery – please contact us directly so we can arrange this for you.
Failure to complete delivery may result in the parcel being returned to us. Additional shipping fees may apply for redelivery.
International Orders
For international shipments:
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges
- Delivery times may vary due to customs processing
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

Refund policy
Change of Mind (Distance Selling)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund.
- Items must be returned unused and in their original condition
- Sealed products must remain sealed
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable unless faulty:
- Opened trading card packs, boxes, or sealed products
- Break spots or break-related products
- Items that have been tampered with after delivery
Trading Cards – Important Notice
Due to the nature of trading cards:
- Product contents are random and cannot be guaranteed
- We do not accept returns based on dissatisfaction with card pulls or box contents
- Minor packaging imperfections (e.g. shrink wrap looseness, small dents) that do not affect the integrity of the product are not considered defects
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos and any requested evidence
We will assess and offer a suitable resolution (replacement, refund, or partial refund where appropriate).
Fraud Prevention & Verification
To protect both our customers and our business:
- All orders are recorded during packing via CCTV and/or video recording
- High-value orders may include additional verification steps
- We reserve the right to use this evidence when investigating claims
Claims involving missing items, tampering, or discrepancies will be reviewed carefully.
We reserve the right to refuse claims where evidence indicates fraudulent activity or abuse.
Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Please allow 3–5 working days after approval
